Zelinda "Linda" N. (Spacagna) Bastien

Zelinda “Linda” N. (Spacagna) Bastien, 85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home, Monday June 3, 2024.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Zelinda (Petrone) and Dr. Charles Spacagna.

Linda was a graduate of Rhode Island College, where she studied to be a primary school teacher. She was a devoted mother and homemaker to her beloved children. In her later years, she enjoyed bowling and bingo alongside her friends at the Cranston Senior Center. An avid animal lover, she loved all of her cats and feeding her birds and squirrels in her yard.

Linda is survived by her sons, Steven Bastien, Michael Bastien and his wife Christine, and one daughter, Michelle Geremia. She was predeceased by her daughter Zelinda Noel Bastien. She was the sister of Charles Spacagna and his wife Geraldine. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren Michael Bastien, Thomas, Tori and Kylie Geremia.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 8 at 8:45 am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, VISITATION will be held, Friday from 4- 7 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
