Xu Shao Lin

It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Xu Shao Lin on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on October 11, 1971 in Guangdong, China, he was the son of Mei Yue Huang and Zhen Hong Lin. 

Xu Shao was a dedicated husband to May Liu, his loving wife of 29 years, and a devoted father to Yu Ying Lin and her husband Hau Tu, and Sylvia Lin. He was a proud grandfather to Jayce Lin, as well as the beloved brother of Su Ting Lin and Mu Yu Lin. Xu Shao’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. 

His funeral will be held at 9:30 am Saturday, October 11 from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, a Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
