Bill passed away September 27, 2023. He is survived by the apple of his eye, his daughter Kenlena Mabel. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Ernest Friday and Elaine (Drappier) Friday. In addition to his daughter and mother, he is survived by his fiancée Patricia Lynn, his sister Sharen, Nephew Joshua and his Aunt Maria and many cousins and friends that had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a 1996 graduate of Cranston High School West. He currently was working for the Kraft Group at Gillette Stadium. This was a job he so enjoyed. He loved meeting people. He was a big Patriot fan as well as a fan of the Providence College Friars.
His other love was driving to Alaska in the beloved Roadtrek, seeing much of our country as he passed through. Also, he made many trips to Europe visiting relatives and traveling. He was always ready for a vacation.
As his friend put it “it was an absolute pleasure knowing him. Bill was a beacon of friendship; he did not have a mean bone in his body. He was always a gentleman to everyone he met.”
Bill was a communicant of the Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston, RI.
His funeral will begin Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 8:45am from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Monday, from 4pm until 7pm in the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home.
