Vittoria Vecchiarelli Obituary

Vittoria Caterina (Ciocca) Vecchiarelli, 98, formerly of Cranston passed away peacefully at Steere House in Providence on Friday, December 30, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Anthony Vecchiarelli. Vittoria was a devoted mother to Anthony Vecchiarelli and wife Laura of Cranston and Linda Parker and husband Peter of Greenville, RI.

She was also the beloved grandmother to: Ashley Parker, Nicholas, and Thomas John Vecchiarelli, and great grandmother to: Brianna, Natalie, Josephine, Jackson, and Mason Anthony.

She worked at Colonial Knife for over 40 years before retiring after her arrival from Pontecorvo Italy. Vittoria had a very kind heart and was a gracious host welcoming everybody to her table as she was an avid cook, gardener, and wine maker along with Poppi. Her wonderful meals and family gatherings will always be treasured memories to her children and grandchildren.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Steere House staff and HopeHospice for their dedicated care and kindness to Vittoria.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Ct, Cranston. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be greatly appreciated to Steere House, 100 Borden Street, Providence, RI 02903.
