Tonia L. Aho 50, of Cranston, passed away Friday March 12, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Carol J Aho (O'Donnell) and the late John Aho Jr. Tonia attended Cranston high School East and was a Pawn Broker at Gold Loan Company and Empire Loan for 30 years.
Tonia was the beloved mother of Zachary Love and cherished grandmother to Elijah Love. She is survived by her two sisters Christine Caprarelli and her husband Vincent, and Lori A Aho. She was the loving aunt to Brittany Machado and her husband, Jose. Tonia also leaves behind her devoted companion of 10 years, Duane Erwin.
Besides Tonia's great eye for jewelry, she enjoyed cooking, reading and working on a good crossword puzzle. She cherished her time with her niece watching her favorite shows (Jeopardy and the Big Bang Theory) Tonia had a great passion for all animals. However, Tonia's greatest joy in life was spending every moment she could with her grandson. Tonia will be remembered for being a kind and compassionate person. Her gentle soul left us all too soon. Visitation Friday March 19, 2021 in Woodlawn Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston from 9 to 11 a.m. and a Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
