Thea Sao, 80, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, October 21 at home surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Eng Chung Sao for 55 years. He was the son of the late Ton and Phea Sao. Thea was a machinist at Stanley Bostitch, and prior to coming to the United States Thea was a police officer in Cambodia.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Thavy, Norin, Phanary, Chanmany and Doranya Sao. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Bophea, Boreth, Bophal, Rebecca, Tajah, Harley, Robert, Evan, Susan, Kholbe, Hannah and Caleb and his great-grandchildren; Brandon and Pryana. He is also survived by his brother Thon Sao.
His Religious service will be Saturday, October 24, at 6:00 pm, in the Buddhist Center of New England, Providence. Sunday, October 25 at 9 am the Monks will welcome his body into the temple and religious service. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
