Teresa (Paolucci) Marrapese

Teresa Marrapese, 92, of East View Avenue passed away on Memorial Day, May 29, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Carmino Marrapese, they had been married for 56 years before he passed in 2004.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Dora (Prezioso) Paolucci.

Teresa was a devoted and loving homemaker for her family her entire life.

She is survived by her two sons, Carmino Jr. of Boca Raton, FL, and Lewis Marrapese of Cranston, her three daughters Lorraine Cipriano of Johnston, Deborah Fantozzi of North Providence, and Lisa Colarusso of Cranston. She was the mother-in-law of William Cipriano, Wyman Tyler, the late Peter Colarusso and Catherine Lawrence. She was the grandmother of Alicia Cipriano Walsh (Bob), Jennifer Fantozzi, Felicia Surtel (Michael), Peter Colarusso Jr. (Leah), Lianna Colarusso and Danial Marrapese. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of John Paolucci and the late Jennie Palmeiri, Vincent Paolucci, Domenic Paolucci, Joseph Paolucci and Daniel Paolucci Jr.

Teresa’s family wishes to express their appreciation to those employees at Cedar Crest Nursing Home who loved our mother. Also, our sincere thank you to Father Wilson and Kathy Carreiro of Immaculate Conception Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to a eulogy to remember Teresa at 9:45am Friday, June 2, in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston, with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10am. Burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
