Siham Kayrouz, 85, of Providence, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 16, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Habib and Silane Keirouz.
Loyally devoted to her family, Siham lived a life of service based on integrity, respect and honor. She was revered as a mentor, role model, guide and confidant not only for her family, but for her community at large. Her humble nature set the foundation for her success as a lifelong educator, supporting academic initiatives and national educational reform in Lebanon and France. Her greatest purpose was ensuring the safety, stability and wellbeing of those she knew and loved.
She was the beloved sister of Renee Kayrouz, the late Hoda Keirouz, the late Jack Kayrouz, and Souad Sukkar. She was the loving aunt of Bobby Kayrouz, Tanya Kayrouz, Jack Kayrouz, Chris Kayrouz, Lolita Sidawi, Tony Keirouz, Mireille Sayaf, Dolly Baaklini, Joseph Keirouz, Ady Kayrouz, Yomana Sukkar, and Louby Sukkar.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Saturday, Feb. 24 from 8am until 9am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10am in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
