Obituary

Sheila M. (Pinocci) DiCarlo, 65, of Johnston, passed away peacefully July 20, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

She was the beloved wife of Joseph DiCarlo for 36 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frank and Madeline (Caroselli) Pinocci.

She was a graduate of St. Mary’s School of the Visitation, class of 1976. She also received a bachelor’s degree from Bryant University.

Sheila was the lead payroll analyst for Lifespan for 23 years. She was previously employed for the family business C.P. Fence Co in Providence. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, in Johnston.

Sheila was the beloved mother of Domenic DiCarlo, loving sister of Carol Wnuk and her husband Edward Wnuk of Narragansett, and Jacqueline Girgenti and her husband Dr. Joseph Girenti of Cranston. Sheila also leaves behind her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
