Rouba Khouri, 36, of Coventry, passed away unexpectedly May 6, 2023. Born Oct. 12, 1986, in Aleppo, Syria, she was the beloved daughter of Amal (Daoud) Khouri and Zouheir “John” Khouri.
In addition to her parents, Rouba is also survived by daughter, Brielle, her sister and brother-in-law, Grace and John Sahagian, two nieces, Samara and Eliana Sahagian, and her nephew, Austin Sahagian.
Rouba, graduated from Cranston West High School, and went to Arthur Angelo School to become an aesthetician. She enjoyed fashion, interior design, art, dance, music, nature and yoga. She was spiritual, genuine, and very generous. Rouba was smart, intelligent, and loved to keep learning about the world around her and was creative. Most of all she had her most fun with her daughter and enjoyed her family time.
She had a big heart and a beautiful soul that she shared and spread to everyone around her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Friday, May 12, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will begin Saturday, May 13, at 11am in St. Basil the Great Melkite Catholic Church, 15 Skyview Dr., Lincoln (Please meet directly at church Saturday morning). Burial will follow at St. Basil the Great Cemetery, Cumberland.
