Robin L. (Tetrault) Leach, 70, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Monday morning, Nov. 3, 2025 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of Joseph V. Leach.
Born March 12, 1955, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leo and June (Locke) Tetrault.
Robin was all about her family. Her favorite times were large family gatherings, which, fortunately, were frequent! She was full of love and joy and greeted everyone with big warm hugs and a loving smile.
Robin was known for her amazing cooking and baking skills, always contributing the very best dishes. Her deviled eggs were fought over at every party!
Robin was full of creative abilities including being a beautician and hairdresser, making masterful wedding cakes, sewing dresses, and knitting and crocheting personalized handmade gifts. One of her favorite hobbies was cross stitching. Her work was very intricate and impressive. This also introduced her to many great friends all over the world.
Robin‘s pride and joy overall were her kids and grandkids. Robin was lovingly known to everyone as Grandma. She was so in love with her husband and best friend Joe. With just one look, they found what some people search a lifetime for. The legacy from their story lives loudly within the family they built together.
In addition to her husband of 51 years, she leaves her daughter Stacey Phok and her husband Matthew, and her son Gregg Leach and his loving partner Brittany Conway; her 6 grandchildren, Alexander, Theodore and Benjamin Phok, Scarlett and Daisy Leach, and Emma Young. She was also the sister of Deborah Almeida and Johnna Mendoza.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 11am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home with burial following at the RI Veterans Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
