Robert E. Murphy Jr.

Robert E. Murphy, Jr. 69, formerly of Rhode Island passed away in Ocala, Florida April 1, 2026. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert E. Murphy Sr. and Lucy (Mascarelli) Murphy. Robert was the husband of Denise M. (Willis) Murphy. He is also survived by his loving children, daughter Ashlee Vilela and husband Rafael and son, Robert E. Murphy III and wife Christina. Grandchildren Aiden Murphy, Anthony Murphy, Nicholas Murphy and Rylee Vilela. He was the brother of Joanne Cafaro and Lori Ucci.

Robert was a jeweler for many years. He loved to fish, hunt, travel, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Robert’s funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday, April 8th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. in “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
