Rita E. (Tasca) Noonan

Rita E. Noonan (Tasca), 89, of Warwick passed away surrounded by her family on April 17, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late James L. Noonan.  Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Tiberio Tasca and Gladys M. (Lynch) Tasca.

She was the mother of James L. Noonan, Jr and his spouse, Elizabeth R. Johnson and the late Michael J. Noonan; grandmother of Jeffrey, Steven and his wife Breana, Kevin (Felicia) and Gabrielle; great grandmother of Ryan, Paisley and Grace.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Paula Gill Noonan.  

Having graduated from Saint Mary Academy of the Visitation, Broadway, she spent her life caring for her family which gave her great joy.  Later in life she was an active member of the Pilgrim Senior Center, Gaspee Seniors and The Meadowlarks where she enjoyed great friendships and many fun times.

Our family would like to extend special thanks to our mother’s CNA, Melissa, who not only cared for her, but consistently demonstrated caring each day.  We also extend our thanks to the Hope Hospice team for their care and support.

Due to the pandemic funeral services and burial at Saint Ann’s Cemetery will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Gregory the Great Parish, Warwick or Hope Hospice and Palliative Care would be appreciated.  Remembrances may be shared at www.WoodlawnGattone.com
