In 1970, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bryant College. Richard had a long career in business administration and retail. He never forgot his friends and they never forgot him.

Richard’s hobbies included watching all professional Boston sports teams (Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox), coaching his daughter’s softball teams, volunteering with Boy Scouts of America, model trains, visiting Florida, and road trips. He was a long-time coach of girls softball in the Silver Lake/Olneyville Little League. He was an active volunteer in Troop 6 Cranston, RI, helping his son earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
