Richard A. "Papou" Kidd

RICHARD A. “Papou” KIDD, 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Floyd and Lena (Gendreau) Kidd. He was the beloved husband of Lefkothea (Theodosiou) Kidd. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. Richard was a retired liquor distributor for Charles Fradin and Centrex.

He is survived by one son, Richard A. Kidd, Jr. and one daughter Spiridoula “Patricia” (Kidd) Kearns and husband Matthew. Loving grandfather of Zachary and Jacob. He was the brother of Joyce Corley, Raymond Kidd and the late Floyd, Robert, John, Donald and Chester Kidd.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday at 10 a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 175 Oaklawn Avenue Cranston. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
