Renee Keirouz, 87 of Providence, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini. Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Habib and Silane Keirouz.
Renee's life was a testament to selfless service and unwavering commitment to her family. She lived with quiet strength, and though she was not a woman of many words, Renee's actions spoke volumes. Her fierce loyalty to her family and loved ones was immeasurable. Renee gave endlessly, expecting nothing in return, and found genuine purpose in being present for others.
Whether it was caring for a family member, offering a listening ear, making a heartwarming meal, or simply being there in the moments that mattered, she was a steady and calming force. She lived with deep gratitude, never taking anything for granted, appreciating the simple beauty in life. Renee's humility was matched only by her quiet resilience. She faced life's challenges with courage and dignity, grounded in her unwavering values. Her legacy is one of love, loyalty, and service, qualities that will forever live in our hearts.
She was the beloved sister of Souad Sukkar, the late Hoda Keirouz, the late Jack Kayrouz, and the late Siham Kayrouz. She was the loving aunt of Bobby Kayrouz, Tanya Kayrouz, Jack Kayrouz, Chris Kayrouz, Lolita Sidawi, Tony Keirouz, Mireille Sayaf, the late Dolly Baaklini, Joseph Keirouz, Ady Sukkar Kayrouz, Yomana Sukkar, and Louby Sukkar.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, followed by the Divine Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
