Pauline (Pasqualetti) Aucoin, 94, passed away at home on February 17, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederic J. Aucoin to whom she was married for 61 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Teresa (DeBottis) Pasqualetti.
She was a clerk at the Uniroyal Co. in Providence and retired in 1951 to raise her family. She resided in the Garden City section of Cranston for over 60 years and was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church. An active member of St. Mark’s, she chaired many committees and fundraisers including the Catholic Charity Drive, the 6 Month Club and the Parish Renovation Campaign. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Aucoin (Jane) of Cranston and three daughters, Dr. Paula Aucoin (Dr. Noel Blagg) of Lenox, MA, Cheryl Cherney (Lee) of Delray Beach, FL and Donna Palumbo (Robert) of Cranston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Lindsay, Kristin and Jennifer Blagg, Brian Aucoin, Meredith and Emily Cherney, Matthew, Michael and Andrew Palumbo.
She was predeceased by her sister Caroline McEnery and brother Raymond Pasqualetti.
