Paul W. Rush

Paul W. Rush, 76, of Cranston, passed away at home Monday morning, September 11, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Price) Rush.

Born June 13, 1947, in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Dorothy (McElroy) Rush.

Paul retired from AMICA Insurance Company as a senior underwriter after 33 years of dedicated service.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, he leaves his brother, James L. (Laura) Rush of Narragansett; his sisters, Jane (the late Dennis J.) O’Brien of Narragansett and Barbara (the late Edward F. “Ted”) Doorley of Warwick. Paul also leaves his nieces and nephews, and his great niece and great nephew.

His funeral will begin Friday, September 15, at 9am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will take place Thursday, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home.
