Orlando Bienvenido Gonzalez

Orlando Bienvenido González, de 52 años, de Providence, falleció rodeado de su familia, 29 de Julio de 2024.

Nacio el 29 de Agosto de 1971 en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, era hijo del fallecido Juan Pascual González y de la fallecida Isabel María Torres. Emigró a los Estados Unidos el 7 de Septiembre de 1989 y vivió en Providence desde entonces.

Era el padre de Katherine González y el hermano de Luis Ramón Torres, Santiago Torres, Joselyn Torres, el fallecido Rafael González y la fallecida Lourdes Torres.

Su funeral comenzará a las 8:45 am del Viernes 2 de Agosto en la funeraria “WOODLAWN”, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, con una misa de entierro cristiano a las 10 am en la iglesia St. Charles Borromeo, Providence. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio St. Ann. El velatorio será el Jueves 1 de Agosto, de 4 p.m. a 7 p.m. en la funeraria “WOODLAWN”.

Orlando Bienvenido Gonzalez, 52, of Providence, passed away with his family at his side, Monday, July 29, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice.

Born Aug. 29, 1971, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was a son of the late Jaun Pascual Gonzalez and the late Isabel Maria Torres. He emigrated to the United States Sept. 7, 1989 and lived in Providence ever since.

He was the father of Katherine Gonzalez and the brother of Luis Ramon Torres, Santiago Torres, Joselyn Torres, the late Rafael Gonzalez and the late Lourdes Torres.

His funeral will begin at 8:45am Friday, Aug. 2, at the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4pm until 7pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home.
