Onesimo "Tony" Valdivieso

Onesimo “Tony” Valdivieso, 72, of Johnston, passed away December 31, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Adele L. (Maddalena) Valdivieso.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Onesimo and Lurdes (Batista) Valdivieso. Mr. Valdivieso was a manager of Murphy’s Liquor Store in Pawtucket.  

He was the beloved father of Alex Valdivieso, Christopher Valdivieso, and Carmene Ivette Valdivieso. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Erhard, Christopher, Joesiris, Christopher "CJ", and Kensley.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 :15 a.m.  from ‘’WOODLAWN’’ Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
