Olga Stickel, of Cranston passed away December 21, 2024. Born in Providence, RI she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Mazzucco - Tucciarone) Carcone. She was the wife of the late Erick E. Stickel for 68 years.
Born the youngest of eight siblings she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Pitre of Cranston, and by her brothers Enrico, Eugene, Mario, Emilio, Silvio Carcone and a Baby Sister Maria Carcone.
She attended Providence schools and graduated Mt. Pleasant High School 1945, married in 1950, shortly after she moved to Western Cranston where she made her home for 69 years.
Olga is survived by her sons Steven E. and partner Brenda Hittle of Massachusetts, David A. and wife Sandra of Cranston, Daughter-In-Law Susan J. Stickel of Cumberland, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Always ready with a joke or playing with the children of her extended family she was affectionately known as "Auntie Olga"
Her interests included vacationing and RVing with Erick and grandchildren, traveling to Italy, sewing, decorating her home, having Holidays, and her dear pets. She was blessed with and beautiful voice and was communicant and member of the choir at St. Rocco's Church in Johnston for many years.

Calling hours will be held from 8:00 - 9:00 AM Monday, December 30 at the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Rhode Island Ave., Johnston.
