Norma C. Moreid, 86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday, June 6, 2022. Born March 16, 1936, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Jafar and Anna (Joseph) Moreid.
She was a loving and caring person, devoted to her family. Brilliant and meticulous in everything she did, Norma was a perfectionist.
She is survived by her sisters, Rose Aspirinio and Marion Moreid, with whom she lived, and was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Moreid, and sisters Lejia Martinous and Jeanette Mycroft. She was loved and will be missed by several nieces and nephews, who were like children to her.
Norma spent most of her career at Rex Finance and then managed Oakland Farms Development Corporation in Portsmouth for over 30 years. After retiring, she worked part-time for Lincoln Town Credit Union.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial, Friday, June 10, at 11 am in St. George Maronite Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
