Michael W. Fournier

Michael W. Fournier, 65, of Cranston, passed away at home Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was the beloved boyfriend of Susan Andrade.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Louis “Sticks” and Gertrude (Zym) Fournier.

Michael was a former jewelry worker and worked at Twin Oaks and the Food Chalet and would often refer to himself as “Deli Man”. He had a great sense of humor and loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Shelby.

Michael is survived by his son, Christopher Fournier and his granddaughters Ivory and Jordan. He was the brother of Robert Fournier, Audrey Medeiros, Karen Rapoza, Louie Fournier and the late Richard, Russell, and David Fournier.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 15 from 9 -11 AM with a Funeral Home Service to follow at 11 AM in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or the RI SPCA, 186 Amaral Street Riverside, RI 02915.
