Marie "Maria" I. Sivo-Calouri, 96, of Cranston, entered into peace on Saturday, May 9 at the Philip Hulitar Center surrounded by her loving family. Marie was the loving wife to the late Michael Calouri.
Born January 14, 1930, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eugenio and Assunta (Casale) Sivo.
She was a clerical worker at the Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Co. for 44 years before retiring.
Marie will best be known for her sweet personality. She dedicated many years of being a caretaker to her mother, which says a lot about her character. She always spoke with a positive attitude.
She leaves behind her brother Giovanni “John” Sivo from Arizona. She also leaves behind many nephews and nieces who adored her. Marie was predeceased by her sister Anninia “Nina” Betts, her brothers Salverio “Sal” Sivo, Eugenio “Eugene” Sivo, and Anthonio “Anthony” Sivo.
Maire will be missed by many friends she had made along the way.
Calling hours will be held from 8:00 - 9:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2026 at the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
