Marie (DiLucia) Sperduti

Marie (DiLucia) Sperduti, 97, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Sperduti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Erminia (Rubiano) DiLucia. 

Marie is survived by her loving children, Deborah McNamara and her husband Dennis of Johnston, Jean DiPippo and her husband Thomas of Providence, and Cathy Sperduti of Johnston. She was the cherished "Mama" of Michael McNamara and his wife Jessica and Eric McNamara and his wife Laura. She was also the cherished "Mama Mae" to Julie, Mia and James McNamara.

She also is survived by her sister Concetta Wells. She was the sister of the late Catherine Calabro, Antonetta Martini-Santoro, Theodore DiLucia and Joseph DiLucia.

Her funeral will begin Monday, Dec. 19 at 10am from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Church of the Holy Ghost, Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will take place Monday morning from 8am until 10am in the funeral home.
