Marie (Parise) Avedisian, 86, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023. She was the wife of the late Vaughn Avedisian.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arturo and Concetta (Puleo) Parise.
Marie was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church where she had served as a eucharistic minister. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and enjoyed cooking, baking and playing tennis.
She was the mother of Lori, Kevin, and Kristine Avedisian and the sister of Grace Accetta (her husband Joseph), the late Ceasar Parise (his late wife Dolores) and the late Eleanor DiLucido (her late husband Joseph). She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will begin at 8:45am Thursday, Jan. 4, from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3 from 4pm until 7pm in the funeral home.
