Maria Catherine (Ovalles) Perez

Maria Catherine Perez, 38, an accountant and business owner, passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday August 4, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Luis Carlos Perez. Born in Queens, NY she was a daughter of Juan and Milagros Ovalles. She was the mother of Joshua Pimentel and Catira Marie Perez. Maria was the sister of Wendy (Ovalles) Romero and aunt of three nieces; Janais Iona, Jayla Iona and Jarybell Romero and godmother of Javier Duarte and Gabriella Mercedes.

Maria was feisty, fun loving and had exquisite taste. She enjoyed dining out, being with family and friends, traveling and shopping. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Her visitation and funeral service will be held Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Graveside burial will be Monday at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.  Please gather at Woodlawn Funeral Home Monday at 9 a.m. if attending the burial.
