Maria Jose (Trindade) Felicio

Maria Jose (Trindade) Felicio, 90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side early Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023. She was the wife of the late Leo Felicio.

Born in Celorico da Beira, Vale de Azares, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Americo Trindade and Maria dos Prazeres Pires.

Maria worked for many years at Davol Rubber Company before retiring.

She was the mother of Elisa (Joseph) Peixinho, with whom she made her home; Luis (Tamee) Felicio, Jose Alberto Felicio, the late Antonio Felicio, and the late Manuel Felicio; 8 grandchildren, Danny, Steven, Susana, Pedro, Anthony, Luis “LJ”, Victoria, and Lexee; and her great grandchildren, Leah, Steven Jr., Alyssa, Danny Jr., Madison, Jayden, Joseph, Lennon, Emerlyn and Malachi.

She was the sister of Jose Trindade and the late Alfredo Trindade.

Her funeral will begin Friday, March 24, at 8:45am from the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 23, from 5pm until 8pm in the funeral home.
