Louise Ripalda (Carlucci) Moreno

Louise Ripalda (Carlucci) Moreno 101, passed from this earth on August 12, 2021.  She would have celebrated her 102nd birthday on September 8th and was predeceased by her parents Potito and Eugenia Carlucci, her husband of 57 years Vito Moreno Sr. and a sister Amelia Marciano.  A lifelong resident of Providence, Louise was educated in Providence schools and dedicated to her family as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.  She was a lifelong member of the Young Pannese Social Club Women’s Auxiliary.  Her family will miss her love and support, independent spirit, love of social interaction, voracious reading and adventuresome spirit to try any activity. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful care and love provided to Louise by the staff of the Cherry Hill Manor for the last 3 ½ years. She is survived by her 3 children, Vito Moreno Jr and wife Maria of South Windsor Connecticut, Ann Marie Fiorillo and husband Pasquale of Johnston Rhode Island and Linda McCaffrey and husband Terrence of Seekonk Massachusetts. Six grandchildren John Moreno of New York City, Anthony Fiorillo of Avon Ohio, David Fiorillo of Portsmouth Rhode Island, Erin McCaffrey of Cumberland Rhode Island, Michael McCaffrey of Essex Junction Vermont and Jennifer McCaffrey of Boston Massachusetts. Five great-grandchildren, Penelope (Poppy) Moreno, Adeline and Brynlee Fiorillo, Carter and Kimberly Fiorillo.  Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m in Blessed Sacrament Church, Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.  VISITATION MONDAY 4-7 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cherry Hill Manor Activity Department 2 Cherry Hill Road, Johnston RI 02919. Please share memories and condolences at WoodlawnGattone.com
