Louis Spertini Obituary

Louis V. Spertini, 84, passed away December 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eliza (Cantini) Spertini.

He is survived by his loving son, Christopher L. Spertini and wife Angelica, devoted “Papa” to his two cherished grandchildren, Christopher Charles Spertini and Cristiana Valentina Spertini and was the loving partner of Kathleen L. Murray for over 50 years. He was the dear brother of Genevieve Vespia and the late Sylvia Jesser.

Louis was a Court Reporter for 37 years and Chief Administrator for the Providence Housing Court for the past 21 years. He was a proud United States Army Veteran. Louis graduated from Central High School where he played football. He grew up on Federal Hill and made lifelong friends who he adored, everyone has a story and he could tell a story. He was an avid Yankees fan, NY Giants fan, loved New York at Christmastime and enjoyed vacationing in Aruba.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 30th at 11 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, a donation made to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
