Louis Piccirilli

Louis Piccirilli, 82, passed away April 9, 2022, with his beloved family by his side. Louis was a good-hearted, generous, loving man. He was the husband of Barbara F. (Giordano) Piccirilli for 52 wonderful years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gerardo L. and Chiara (Simeone) Piccirilli. He was a Certified Public Accountant retiring from Johnson & Wales University where he was the Director of the Center for Accounting for many years. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Business and from Providence College with a Master’s Degree in Management. Louis served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Louis was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, RI Society of CPA’s, RI Association of Public Accountants, the San Bernardo Men’s Society, St. Mary’s Feast Society, and the American Legion.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, daughter Chiara A. Piccirilli (David), son Louis J. Piccirilli (Tammy and her daughter Abby Rose). He also leaves a brother, Anthony Piccirilli (Barbara), and sisters, Assunta Lombardo (late Anthony) and Maria Galasso (John). He was the brother of the late Dominic Piccirilli. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., from “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
