Louis Ferrieri, Jr.

Louis Ferrieri Jr., 91, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024. He was the husband of the late Mary (Gonsalves) Ferrieri for 44 years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis and Anna (DeLellis) Ferrieri. He was also the son of the late Pauline (Cianci) Ferrieri.

Louis was a laborer for the City of Cranston for several years. He was a volunteer Fireman for the Pawtuxet Fire Department and the Providence Canteen.

He is survived by his daughter Anne Marie Rossi and son-in-law Robert “Scooter” Rossi. He was the grandfather of Robert Rossi Jr. and his girlfriend Katrina Abraham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Shirley Mazzatta, Albert Dinapoli and the late Pauline Minuto.

The family would like to thank Brookdale Assisted Living for the wonderful care they gave Louie. Also, the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center for their compassion in his final days.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Church, Cranston.
