Lillian Conti Obituary

Lillian (Kelly) Conti, of Garden City, age 94. Beloved wife for over 60 years of the late John L. Conti. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Theresa B. (O’Neil) Kelly. She was the loving mother of the late Bryan J. Conti. Lil leaves her devoted daughter, Lisa O’Brien, son-in-law Steven and her Cherished granddaughter Carla Kelly O’Brien, all of Coventry, RI.

Lil was a graduate of Gorton High School and Bryant College. She was a secretary at The Narragansett Electric Co., retiring to raise a family. She was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church in Cranston for over 60 years. Lil was the sister of the late Edward and Joseph Kelly and Mary Carpenter. Lil leaves many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was also a loving Nina to Meghen, Candyce, and Andrea O'Brien. She was happiest while sharing good times with her family and friends and always welcomed a good laugh. Lil and John traveled with their family and friends. They enjoyed tennis, skiing and golfing. She was also an excellent sewer and crafter.

Our family would like to thank the entire staff at Atria Harborhill, Lincolnwood Healthcare, and the VNA of Care New England. They were all kind, compassionate and professional healthcare workers. In lieu of flowers, donations made to these facilities are welcome.
