Kevin W. Parkinson, 58, of Tallman Ave., Cranston, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 27th, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 26 years of Carla (Alves) Parkinson and the adoring father of Christina, 26, Marissa, 21, and Sarah Parkinson,13.
Born June 10, 1963, in Pompano Beach, FL, he was the son of Lynn (Bellemer) Parkinson of Lincoln and the late William Parkinson. Kevin was the brother of Lori Laston and Keri Parkinson, both of Lincoln. He is also survived by his three nieces and two nephews.
Kevin’s past jobs included Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Perot, Dell, HP, DXC Technology and his most recent job was at Gainwell Technologies. He met his wife, Carla, while working at Blue Cross. He was a friend of everyone and well-liked. He was consistently helpful whether he was at work or at home with his family. Kevin was especially helpful with technology as this was his expertise. His entire house was filled with different kinds of technology. He was a social person, everywhere he went someone would recognize him or he would recognize someone. He had a great sense of humor, he would make someone laugh no matter where he was. To say he will be greatly missed is an understatement, the world is different without him here.
