Josephine U. (Campanile) Mottola

Josephine U. Mottola, 88, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amilia (Papitto) Campanile. Josephine was the wife of the late Rudolph Mottola.

Josephine was employed with Emblematic Jewelry as an engraver prior to her retirement. She is survived by her children, Wallace Irons, Deborah Kerwin and Jean Marie Irons. She was the cherished grandmother of seven and great -grandmother of five. She is also survived by her dear God-daughter Diane Bernache. Josephine was the sister of the late Anthony Campanile, Barbara and Ursula.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday, February 26th from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
