Joseph J. Simon

Joseph John Simon, 69. passed away at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 6. He was the son of the late Fred and Eva Simon. Born in Providence, he is survived by his twin sister, Mary Simon of Providence and brother Fred Simon, Jr., (sister-in-law Angela), of Lincoln. He was the fiancé of Theodora Barkett and the Uncle to Joseph M. and Michael J. Simon.

He was a communicant of St. George Maronite Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 9 at 11:00 AM at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI. Limited seating, due to Covid restrictions will apply. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted; burial is private. 

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Rhode Island Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion.
