Joseph V. Moretti, Sr., 81, of Cranston passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Beatrice (LaGreca) Moretti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Adalgiso and Elizabeth (Spirito) Moretti.
Mr. Moretti owned and operated Joseph Moretti Dental Labs for 50 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Joseph V. Moretti, Jr., Stephen Moretti and wife Kimberly, and Anthony Moretti. Loving grandfather of three grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Moretti, Milla Rose Moretti and Mattias Moretti. He was the brother of Annamarie Fera.
His funeral is Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Monday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
