Obituary

Joseph Theodore Mazur 71, of Mapleville passed away Monday March 22, 2021 after suffering a heart attack. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Walter and Gabrielle (Michaud) Mazur.

Joseph was a retired firefighter for the City of Providence after 20 years of service and was a Vietnam War Navy Veteran, serving 4 years.

He is survived by his brother Stephen Mazur and wife Sue, his sister Diane Marie Paliotta and husband Robert and sister-in-law Sue Mazur, wife of the late Walter Mazur, Jr. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITATION Monday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. in “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.
