Jose F. Bolivar Gomez

Jose F. Bolivar Gomez, 68, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 28, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Sara (Malca) de Bolivar. Born in Peru, a son of the late Victor and Herminia (Gomez) de Bolivar.

He was the loving father of Vanessa, Jose, and Maria Bolivar. Loving Grandfather of Mario Jose, Gabriel Mateo, Tadeo Jacob, Valentina, Diego, and Luana. He was the brother of Guilmer, Norma, Fredi, Eduardo, Ricardo, and Cecilia Bolivar.

His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren. He was a retired mechanic, machine operator, and truck driver. An avid member of the Brotherhood of the Lord of Miracles.

His funeral and visitation will be held, Saturday from 8 – 9:30 AM at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
