John A. Ricci, 92, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at Hope Hospice.
Born in Moosup, CT, he was the son of the late John and Hazel (Munroe) Ricci.
A machinist for many years before retirement he enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, playing guitar, and was an avid Red Sox fan. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie (DeRobbio) DiStefano Ricci; his children, Lori Simone of Johnston, Jo-An Ricci and partner Donna Caliri of Johnston, Debra and Ernie Campagnone of Scituate, and John Ricci and Karyn Szaro of Burrillville; his five grandchildren and one and a half great-grandchildren; his brother Robert R. and wife Marie Ricci of Raymond, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the stepfather of David and Yanet DiStefano and Basil and Nancy DiStefano and 3 step-grandchildren. John was the husband of the late Anita (Rea) Ricci.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, April 16, from 8 am until 10 am in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, where a funeral service will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
