Joan D. Ferrante

Ferrante, Joan D. 63, formerly of Cranston passed away November 20, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. Gaetano J. Ferrante and Josephine V. (Lonardo) Ferrante. Born in Providence, Joan was an Associate at Marshalls for more than 20 years. She loved her family, friends, traveling, butterflies, arts and crafts and the movies.

Joan leaves her sister Dr. Karen J. Ferrante and her husband Paul A. DiSegna of East Greenwich and their children, Ross DiSegna (spouse Nick Pardy), and Samantha Barberet (spouse Patrick) and their son August.  She was the sister of Jeff A. Ferrante of Pompano Beach, Florida, Mark A. Ferrante of Cranston and Stephen T. Ferrante of Pawtucket. She is also survived by her nephew Gaetano Ferrante and niece Nicole Ferrante and their mother Dona Ferrante and her nephews Aaron Ferrante, Jordan Ferrante and their mother Bonnie Edwards.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Calling hours in the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
