The house was forever filled with the smell of homemade cakes, pies, breads and cookies, and at holidays she made trays of cookies and traditional treats for family and friends. She loved children and often said she would have had a dozen, and lovingly babysat her grandchildren and children of the neighborhood.  Many people benefited from the work of her beautiful hands and her heart felt generosity.  She loved to laugh, she loved cats and dogs and had many pets throughout her lifetime.  She loved to people watch and she loved to travel, often with her daughter.  She loved her family intensely and will be deeply missed by all, as she was the sweet center of our world.
