Jean (Clow) Johnson, 92, formerly of Cranston and Warwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Steere House. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Johnson.
Born in Providence on Oct. 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Clow.
Her faith, her family, her kindness, and her love for music were most important to her and were evident in her life.
She leaves her son, Edward and his wife Tressa Johnson and her daughter, Karen Johnson; her three grandsons, Evan Johnson and Katelyn Quinn, Ryan and Laura Johnson and Christopher and Megan Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Bradley Evan Johnson and Ethan Christopher Johnson, who was born the day after her death.
She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Jane E. Volino, her sister Dorothy Mills and her brother Robert Clow.
Calling hours will be Monday, Jan. 2, from 3pm until 6pm in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Her funeral service with communion will begin Tuesday, Jan. 3, in the funeral home at 9:30am. Her burial will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
