Janice L. (Rafanelo) Skorupa

Janice Lois (Rafanelo) Skorupa, 74, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving sons, Friday, December 24, 2021, at her home in Cranston.

Mrs. Skorupa was born January 25th, 1947 in Providence, RI. She attended Bay View Academy followed by the University of Miami as an undergraduate, before receiving her Master's in Education from Rhode Island College. She was a school teacher and English Department Head at Nathanael Greene Middle School in Providence, RI.

She is survived by her sons Albert L. Skorupa and Joseph M. Skorupa of Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Skorupa Jr. Esq., daughter of the late Louis A. Rafanelo and Virginia A. (Capobianco) Rafanelo, and sister of the late Beverly A. Rafanelo.

Visitation will be Thursday 11:30 AM -12:30 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Please share memories and condolences at www.WoodlawnGattone.com
