Hugh J. Doyle

Hugh J. Doyle, 84, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, June 20, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve (Greenhalgh) Doyle.

Born Feb. 22, 1939, in Providence, he was a son of the late Hugh and Margaret (Aiello) Doyle, and the brother of the late Allen Doyle.

In addition to his wife of 61 years, he leaves his son, David H. Doyle; his daughter and son-in-law, Jenifer and Henry Wallitsch; his four grandchildren, Jessica (Tom) McCarthy, Alexandra (Nick) Yeaton, Jenifer E. Wallitsch and Madison Doyle; and his great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Kalin McCarthy.

His funeral will begin Saturday, June 24, at 10:00 AM in the “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with burial following at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation will take place in the funeral home Friday, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
