Hope (Carbary) Jacobs

Hope Jacobs (Carbary), 82, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital Providence, on November 17, 2019.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Viola (Driscoll) Carbary. She is survived by three children;  Cynthia Paolissi and husband Robert, Joseph Jacobs and Sharon Folco  and husband Tazio. Loving grandmother of  Christopher R. Paolissi, Samantha J. Paolissi, Robert M. Paolissi, II, great-grandmother of Sadie Jane, Ricky, Nicholas, Christopher, Angelina and great-great- grandmother of Aubree. She was the sister of the late Claire Shea, Cecelia Harris, Eileen Carbary, Warren Carbary, Terrance Carbary, Thomas Carbary and Norbert Carbary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Hope was a homemaker most of her life. Many years ago she was a professional race car driver.

Her funeral is Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from “WOODLAWN”  Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. CALLING HOURS Friday 4-7 p.m. Please share memories at WoodlawnGattone.com
