Henry Joseph Beausoleil, 72, passed away at home in Cranston, Wednesday January 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Zazza) Beausoleil for 37 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Cooper) Beausoleil.
Henry was the owner and operator of Beausoleil & Sons Asphalt Paving which he founded in 1967. He successfully grew his company from 1 truck and 1 roller to multiple trucks and expanded the business to multiple family-owned businesses.
Besides his wife he is survived by five children; Scott, Shawn and Lee Beausoleil, Victoria Hetu and step-son Eric Caron. He was the father of the late Henry J. Beausoleil. He was the twin brother of Leo Beausoleil and brother of Roger Beausoleil and the late Nelson Cooper, Celie Ciufo and Joseph Beausoleil. He leaves thirteen cherished grandchildren; Henry, Breanna, Jacqueline, John Henry, Sonny, Cameron, Kassie, Rinna, Ella, Lee Jr., Soleil, Eric Jr., Nick and three cherished great-grandchildren; Henry John, Sonny and Benny.
CALLING HOURS are THURSDAY 5-7 p.m. His funeral will be held Friday, January 21st at 9 a.m. from “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul Church 48 Highland Street West Warwick. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Shriners Hospital for Children or Operation Smile.
