Grace M. DiColo (Petteruti), 92, of Cranston passed away peacefully Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. DiColo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Guadagnoli) Petteruti.
Grace is survived by her children Robert L. and Cathy (Gibney) DiColo and Susan M. and Michael P. Tasca. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the sister of the late Joseph Petteruti and Robert Petteruti.
Grace was an accomplished musician, playing the ukulele, xylophone, vibes, guitar and piano. She worked along side her father and brothers at the former Twin City Music House in Pawtucket and Providence. She, her husband and children, later owned and operated Bob Carol’s Bakery on Pontiac Avenue in Cranston until retiring in 1987.
Grace enjoyed traveling with her family to Aruba and Florida. She was extremely proud of her children and their accomplishments. Grace lived her life with elegance, grace and a strong faith in God. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her VISITATION Wednesday morning 8:45 -10:15 at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either St. Mark Church 9 Garden Court Cranston, RI 02920 or Holy Apostles Church would be greatly appreciated.
