German Nunez Hilario

German Nunez Hilario, de 69 años, de Providence, falleció inesperadamente el domingo 4 de enero de 2026 en el Roger Williams Medical Center. Nació el 15 de febrero de 1956 en San Francisco de Macorís, República Dominicana, y era hijo del fallecido Antonio Nunez y de Maria Dolores Hilario.

Fue un padre devoto de German Antonio Nunez, Gisselle Nunez y Jessica Nunez. También fue un orgulloso abuelo de sus queridos nietos, quienes le brindaron gran alegría y felicidad. Además, le sobreviven otros familiares y amigos que lo amaban.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir a una velación el domingo 11 de enero, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., en la Funeraria WOODLAWN, ubicada en el 600 de Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Su funeral comenzará el lunes 12 de enero a las 9:00 a.m. en la Funeraria WOODLAWN, seguido por una Misa de Cuerpo Presente a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Blessed Sacrament, en Academy Ave., Providence. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio St. Ann.

German Nunez Hilario, age 69, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Roger Williams Medical Center. Born Feb. 15, 1956, in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, he was a son of the late Antonio Nunez and Maria Dolores Hilario.

He was the devoted father of German Antonio Nunez, Gisselle Nunez, and Jessica Nunez. He was also the proud grandfather of his beloved grandchildren, who brought him great joy and happiness. He is further survived by other loving family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 11, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. His funeral will begin Monday, Jan. 12, at 9:00 a.m. from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
