Gennaro “Jerry” Henry Venditti, 96, of North Providence passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry and Elvira (Piccirilli) Venditti. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (DeWitt) Venditti.
Jerry is survived by three children: his beloved son Gerald Venditti and his wife Christina, his devoted daughter Joyce Venditti-Paliotta and his best friend and son-in-law James and his beloved daughter Lorraine Venditti. He leaves his cherished grandchildren Kaitlin Venditti and Christopher Venditti. He was the brother of Vivian Woolf-Mainella and the late Rosalie A. Venditti.
Jerry was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a cigar salesman his entire career, until his retirement. He loved hanging with his friends at the cigar shop, playing cards, and was a local sports fan with his favorites being the NE Patriots, Boston Red Sox and PC Friars. Jerry was an avid fisherman, enjoying saltwater fishing the most. Jerry loved his family, was a great listener and everyone loved to be with him.
His funeral and visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
